James Wiseman has done incredible things in 10 games this season.

“First of all, Theo Robertson – one of our player development professionals – he did a fantastic job with James,” said Golden State associate coach Mike Brown on Monday morning on “The Morning Roast” 95.7 the game. “Many individual situations, a lot of development behind the scenes. Wiseman played nothing in the fourth period of Golden State’s victories over the LA Clippers and Raptors on Friday and Sunday night, respectively, and was not usually on the ground to close games.
“We have to remember that he is 19,” said Brown at 95.7. “He played some games in college. We need to keep a little patience as he grows up. And it’s complicated because we want to win, we want to start well.
“[But] we have to keep trying to give him opportunities to experience different game situations in games played along the straight and throughout the game. Which will be complicated for us because of your inexperience and trying to win games.
“It is something that we have in mind what we want to do. But when things come up, we make adjustments and follow through with what we think is right not only for him, but for the team and for everyone’s growth on that journey. “
