April 2, 2021 update at 9:15 am ET: Microsoft confirmed that the problems have been solved and all services “have returned to a healthy state”.
April 1, 2021 update at 6:35 pm ET: Microsoft is “seeing improvements in service availability”. since it “redirected traffic to our resilient DNS resources”. The next status update should take about 60 minutes. We can confirm that Bing, OneDrive and Skype are working again.
It appears that several Microsoft services are down this afternoon. Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive, Azure, Skype and even Bing are down now. The cause of the disruption is not clear, although Microsoft noted that there is an issue affecting the Azure Portal and Azure services.

According to the DownDetector interruption tracking website, reports of interruptions in Microsoft services began to emerge around 5:00 pm Eastern time. Thousands of reports have been noted for Xbox Live, Teams and Office. We noticed the interruption, oddly enough, when trying to access Bing and we came across an error page.
Some reports suggest that it is affecting only users in the United States. It can also be related to a similar outage with Cloudflare, which handles DNS.
This is the second major disruption to Microsoft’s services in recent weeks. On March 15, Azure experienced some downtime, removing services from Xbox, Teams and Office 365 at the end of the day.
