Microsoft is releasing the cumulative Windows 10 update KB4023057 for all supported versions of Windows 10.
The software is a type of cleaning patch that Microsoft previously placed in anticipation of the release of a major update in the near future, and does some work to make it more likely that the major service update will be implemented more smoothly.

In this case, KB4023057 is paving the way for the launch of Windows 10 version 21H1, expected in February or March 2021. This update brings cosmetic improvements to Windows 10 and brings a series of settings that are still in the Control Panel for the Application modern configurations, among other improvements.
KB4023057 is a mandatory update with no known issues and is being rolled out gradually to all supported Windows 10 users.
