Microsoft has assured Final Fantasy fans that more games in the franchise are coming to the Xbox Game Pass.

Speaking to TrueAchievements, a Microsoft spokesman confirmed that the lost Final Fantasy titles announced at X019 are still going to the Xbox Game Pass service.

“As we announced at X019, we are excited to bring the Final Fantasy franchise to players with the Xbox Game Pass,” the spokesman told TrueAchievements. “We did this throughout 2020 and will continue to do so in 2021 and beyond. We look forward to announcing specific release dates for more Final Fantasy titles in the future. ”

X019 was released in November 2019, and Microsoft said at the time that 10 Final Fantasy titles were coming into service. At the moment, only five of the titles have awarded the Xbox Game Pass: Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8 Remastered, Final Fantasy 9 and Final Fantasy 15, in addition to Final Fantasy 15 Multiplayer: Comrades.

That leaves Final Fantasy 10: Remastered HD, Final Fantasy 10-2: Remastered HD, Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 13-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 to be added.

Hopefully, some or all of the titles will be added sooner or later.
