Microsoft is looking for a solution to the unresponsive Xbox controller problem

According to online reports, some players are experiencing unresponsive buttons on their Xbox Series X controllers | Y, and Microsoft is already trying to fix this problem. As reported by sites like the PC Gamer, some players have had a problem pressing a button on the Xbox controller will not result in an action. Apparently, this problem appears to affect players using the Xbox controller on consoles and on the PC.

Microsoft issued a statement to IGN saying it is investigating the problem and is working on a fix. Check out the full statement below:

“At Microsoft, we subject all of our products to rigorous quality assurance tests and are committed to providing customers with an unparalleled gaming experience. We are aware that some players may not be responding with their new Xbox Wireless Controllers and our teams are actively working on a solution. For the best experience, we encourage customers to visit Xbox Support for assistance. “

Users are beginning to share their experiences with defective controllers online. A player tells The Loadout that the “Y” button is the one that is malfunctioning for them.

Xbox Series X confirmed games

It is unclear what the cause of the problem is, and until Microsoft announces an official fix, it is difficult to say which interim fixes are available to players.

The Xbox controller is the latest console hardware to deal with problems. The Nintendo Switch has a long recorded history of defective Joy-Cons, with problems ranging from disconnecting the controllers to the drift – where the reticle will begin to move on its own, without player intervention.
