Investigators said a Chevrolet Equinox parked in the garage was registered to a family member who does not live in the house, but neither the police nor family members said whether the owner of the vehicle was linked to the deaths, the report said.

The investigation continues with the Garden City police and Michigan State Police crime scene investigators involved.
