Collider reports that Halle Berry is on to star in Mothership, a new sci-fi movie from Netflix written and directed by Matt Charman. The story concerns “a fearless woman (Berry) whose husband mysteriously disappears, but when she discovers a strange extraterrestrial object beneath her home, she and her children set out to find him and discover the truth behind his disappearance – the that may involve the CIA. “

Deadline also reports that David Fincher will make a new team with Se7en screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker in a film adaptation of The killer, Alexis Nolent’s comic book series following “a cold-blooded killer who begins to have a psychological crisis in a world without a moral compass. ”Michael Fassbender is currently in talks to star.

In conversation with Uproxx, Wesley Snipes revealed that he is working on a new project that he believes “will smoke all Blade thing.”

We have two things. We have one that is a female action franchise. And also what we call our Blade-assassin, our Blade on steroids. And we defined our character in the world of shapeshifters and a little time travel. But the action is going to be … Well, we did action on the white belt in Blade. Now we are going to do the black belt action.

It’s wonderful what we did, but, brother, we are much better than we were then. Much better now than we were then. Yes, indeed. And we have more tools. Some of the things that have innovated in Blade The franchise for the first film is now standard in the Marvel universe and in all these other action films. And technology allows them to do a lot of things that we couldn’t do back then. Now give us the technology and we already have the skills and the flavor. It’s bursting, baby!

According Deadline, Dave Erickson is developing a TV series based on Stephen King’s short story, The Jaunt. Originally published in Twilight Zone Magazine, the story explores a future where teleportation, called ‘walking’, “has become a common technology, although still dangerous and mysterious”.

During a Television Critics Association presentation for several Marvel + Disney projects, Kevin Feige stated that the network “probably could” bring back Netflix and ABC characters, including Reckless, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, SHIELD agents and The Inhumans.

I think we could probably do that. I think many of those things come back to us. There are always rumors online about things reversing, sometimes this is true, sometimes not, and I’m not sure of the exact contracts. But maybe someday.
