Michael Moore: Boulder’s sniper proves that anyone can “truly assimilate” American culture

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore caused a reaction on Tuesday because of a tweet about the shooter involved in Monday’s supermarket massacre in Boulder, Colorado.

Police identified the suspect on Tuesday as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a 21-year-old resident of Arvada, Colorado, who immigrated from Syria to the United States as a child. He was charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder. The reason for the attack has not yet been released.

Moore, a outspoken supporter of arms control, seemed to steal “American culture” with his tweet about how Alissa showed that anyone can “assimilate” the US

“Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa’s life shows that people can come from all over the world and really assimilate our beloved American culture,” Moore tweeted with a photograph of the Statue of Liberty.

Critics criticized the director of “Bowling for Columbine” because of the insensitive message.

“So we all agree that this is the worst tweet ever, right?” Daily Caller reporter Andrew Kerr reacted.

“Shitting on people who lost loved ones while taking and [sic] an even hotter shit across America, “said radio host Trey Radel.

“He’s trying to be smart or funny, but he’s neither. Which is … normal,” wrote Pradheep J. Shanker, a National Review contributor.

“It takes the cake to the absolute worst tweet I have ever seen at this garbage fire site,” said Kara Zupkus of Young America’s Foundation.
