REPORT: Michael Keaton to be DCEU’s Batman Principal
With production set to finally start at Warner Bros. ‘ to be alone Snapshot movie in just a few months, a new development can see Michael Keaton’s version of the Dark Knight beyond a unique appearance in the film directed by Andy Muschietti. According to New York Times writer Brooks Barnes, who recently profiled DC Films president Walter Hamada, a quote from the WB executive actually indicates that in the future, Keaton will be the main Batman at the DCEU, effectively replacing Ben Affleck through a multiverse transfer this will undoubtedly occur in the solo release of Flash.
“Next, for example, Warner Bros. will have two different movie sagas involving Batman – played by two different actors – running at the same time ”, Hamada stated in the profile.
When someone asked Barnes for clarification about the other Batman Hamada, he meant in addition to Robert Pattinson’s separate trilogy, Barnes confirmed …

This is music to the ears of fans who thought Keaton’s view of the character deserved some cinematic performances more than the two he had in 1989 bat Man and 1992 Batman Returns. It may also imply that Keaton’s older brother Bruce Wayne can be exploited in films that suit both the popular animated series Batman Beyond or Frank Miller’s comic book “The Dark Knight Returns”, which in itself has had several sequences printed over the years.

Production in The Flash it is currently scheduled to take place at Leavesden Studios in the UK in April. This studio is currently serving as the home of another highly anticipated DC film, Batman. The FlashThe casting process is underway with the presidency of Rich Delia and Kate Ringsell. Delia is no stranger to DC projects, having been casting director in Shazam!, DC Universe’s Swamp Thingand the CW’s Stargirl. Ringsell also worked as a casting assistant on the original Wonder Woman movie.
So far, The FlashThe cast includes Ezra Miller as the title character, with Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck playing two alternate versions of Bruce Wayne / Batman. Furthermore, Billy Crudup is supposedly set to reprise his Justice League role as Barry Allen’s father, Henry. However, Ray Fisher’s return as Cyborg seems very unlikely. Fisher said earlier that he will not work with Walter Hamada of DC Films.
