Michael Douglas met with his longtime colleague Kathleen Turner for the third and final season of Netflix’s hit series, The Kominsky Method.
The 66-year-old actress, who previously made a special appearance on the series as Douglas’ ex-wife last year, will take a full-time role in the critically acclaimed as the mother of her daughter Mindy (Sarah Baker)

Previously, the duo co-starred in Romancing the Stone in 1984 and their 1985 sequel, The Jewel of the Nile, as well as War of the Roses in 1989.
The final six-episode season will include Sarah Baker, Paul Reiser, Lisa Edelstein, Emily Osment, Graham Rogers and Haley Joel Osment.
Speaking about the decision to play his ex-wife in the half-hour dramatic comedy about growing old, Turner told People he was a no-brainer.

“Michael and I have always been friends, but it was fun to just get back to the rhythm of our work together,” she told the outlet in November 2019.
During the summer, news that the series would end after three seasons.
“The Kominsky Method has been a project of real passion for me, and it has been an incredible experience to see the warm response from the public and the critics,” said the show’s creator and executive producer, Chuck Lorre, in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter in July.

The Golden Globes winning series debuted for the first time in November 2018.
Season 3 will premiere on May 28 on Netflix.
