Michael Brockers wouldn’t mind if he no longer needed to chase Russell Wilson twice a season.

Los Angeles striker Rams saw the friction between Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks this season. In an interview with the NFL Network, Brockers said he would not be sad to see Wilson play for someone else.

“You cross your fingers a little bit,” said Brockers, through Kevin Patra of NFL.com. “You expect everything you hear to be true, and he’s out of here, so you don’t have to chase him twice a year. For the most part, he is a phenomenal player, but if he decides to leave and leave the division and make things a little easier for us, man, for everyone. “

Brockers faced Wilson 19 times in total between the regular season and the playoffs during his nine seasons in the NFL. Wilson and Brockers joined the league together in 2012 with their respective teams. Brockers and the Rams were quite successful against Wilson. They have a 10-8 record in the regular season and won the Seahawks in the Wild Card round of the playoffs in January in Seattle.

Brockers himself managed just 1.5 sacks from Wilson in all of his games against Wilson.

Wilson expressed some frustration with the Seahawks in this off-season and the people around him also stirred up this discontent. But it doesn’t seem that the relationship is so tense that Wilson will be moving elsewhere in 2021. At least not yet.
