Miami vs. Oklahoma State live stream, watch online, TV channel, Cheez-It Bowl start time, choice, odds

The non-New Year’s Six bowl game, with teams ranked against each other, will take place on Tuesday, when No. 18 Miami (FL) and No. 21 Oklahoma State play in Orlando at the Cheez-It Bowl. The hurricanes left the New Year’s Six dispute for the last time, when they were defeated by North Carolina 62-26 during the final game of the regular season. This not only prevented hurricanes from doing a lot of damage, but cast doubt that the 2020 season proved they are on the rise.

The Cowboys had a regular season of ups and downs that ended on a high with an emphatic 42-3 victory over Baylor on December 12. Quarterback Spencer Sanders shot for 347 yards and three touchdowns in that victory over the Bears. What will happen in the Cheez-It Bowl between two teams that hope to close their seasons tightly? Let’s break it down and make some choices.

Storylines

Oklahoma State: The Cowboys started the game after Chuba Hubbard failed to prepare for the NFL. Dezmon Jackson ran for 235 yards on November 28 against Texas Tech and 118 yards on December 5 against TCU, but he only had 38 and didn’t find the end zone against Baylor at the end of the regular season. That responsibility fell to Dominic Richardson, who swung the stone 23 times for 169 yards and three touchdowns. The running back-by committee’s approach has been able to keep the attack going despite the mid-season change.

The defense of the state of Oklahoma has limited great moves … at least to the 12 standards. He ranks third in the conference with 5.18 yards per game and leads the big 12 in tackles per game loss with 8.3. This aggressive style has become a staple of coach Mike Gundy’s teams over the years.

Miami (FL): Before the game in North Carolina, the Hurricanes defense had given over 400 yards in just one game since the October 10 defeat to Clemson. Things were looking up. So they delivered 778 to Tar Heels and all confidence was lost. This does not bode well for this confrontation. The attack, on the other hand, was consistently solid. The transfer quarterback D’Eriq King was what was announced and started this attack led by Rhett Lashlee. The Canes are accumulating 5.97 yards per move and have given fans of the “U” hope for the future.

Cheez-It Bowl prediction, choices

Most recent odds:

Oklahoma State Cowboys -1

Give me the Cowboys to win and cover the small difference. The combination of their dynamic attack and attack defense will be too much for the Hurricanes, who will have a bit of a hangover from the North Carolina game to overcome. Sanders will reach the 300 yard mark, one of the running backs will reach the century mark and the Canes will go off-season on a bitter note. Choice: State of Oklahoma (-2.5) | Oklahoma State 42, Miami 27
