Corey Oswalt recorded five eliminations over two closed entries in the Mets’ 7-5 victory over the Cardinals on Sunday at Clover Park. Right-handed Oswalt – who is deep for the bullpen and rotation – was making his debut in the Grapefruit League.
Getting there
Francisco Lindor has only 3-to-19 (0.158) in the exhibition season, but he arrived at the base twice on Sunday, with a single hike.
Caught my eye
After an epic 22-shot performance that ended with a walk, Luis Guillorme swung on the first shot on his next hit and lined up.
