Metro Health will make 30,000 consultations for COVID-19 vaccines available on Thursday

SANTO ANTÓNIO – The San Antonio Metropolitan Sanitary District will make 30,000 first-dose consultations of the Pfizer vaccine available starting at 7 pm on Thursday.

Residents can sign up for a consultation on Metro Health’s COVID-19 vaccine registration website.

People without Internet access can call the Customer Service Service 311 COVID Hotline from 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 12 pm on weekends.

All appointments will be scheduled from April 6 to May 1 at Alamodome, according to a press release.

Individuals who decide to join the San Antonio city text alert system can send a text message VACCINE at 55000 or in Spanish VACUNA at 55000. When registering, they will receive a text notifying them of the locations that have available times. Choosing this text alert system will not sign you up for a vaccine or add you to the waiting list. This is an additional method of informing the community when new commitments are available. At this time, notifications will be for Alamodome, Wonderland of the Americas operated by University Health, UT Health San Antonio and WellMed.
