Men’s tennis drops to tenth position in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, SC – Arkansas men’s tennis dropped to tenth place in South Carolina (11-6, 5-3 SEC) on Sunday afternoon at the Carolina Tennis Center. It was the fourth straight game against a team in the top 25 of the Razorbacks.

In doubles, the Gamecocks secured the point with a pair of 6-3 wins on courts one and two. Alex Reco and Nico Rousset’s match in court three against 71 Phillip Jordan / Raphael Lambling was unfinished.

Freshman Adrien Burdet pushed Phillip Jordan to a second set extended in 5th place, but Jordan won the second stanza, 7-6 (7-4), in the final court of the day.

Arkansas will be back in Fayetteville after a weeklong trip to fight No. 13 Georgia (Friday, April 2) and No. 3 Tennessee (Sunday, April 4).
