HOLLYWOOD, Florida. – The Memorial Healthcare System announced Wednesday that it has received its first batch of the vaccine Moderna COVID-19 and is scheduling appointments for medical professionals and people aged 65 and over.
The Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine also continues to be offered by the healthcare system, while supplies last.
Vaccines will only be available by appointment.
There are two options for registering for appointments: visit https://mychart.mhs.net. Programmed in your chart is a section entitled “appointments” to make an appointment. Choose a date, time and location that is convenient for you.
Those who meet the criteria for making an appointment can also call the Centralized Scheduling of the health system, dialing 954-276-4340 from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The call center closes on weekends. Be aware that callers may experience longer wait times than normal.
Below are the vaccination locations and times currently open for consultations:
- Memorial Specialty Pharmacy, 9581 Premier Parkway, Miramar.
- Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Closed on Sundays.
- Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center, 3501 Johnson Street, Hollywood.
- Opening hours: Monday, from noon to 7:30 pm; Tuesday to Friday, from 9 am to 4:30 pm. Closed on weekends.
What to expect at vaccination sites?
- Vaccines will only be provided by appointment, while supplies last.
- Bring a state-issued license or photo ID to check in on site. Health professionals need to provide proof of licensing.
- To maintain social distance, escorts without an appointment will be asked to stay away.
- Wear a shirt or top with an accessible arm.
- Children are not allowed on the website. There is no daycare on site.
