Meghan McCain reveals that she is returning as a co-host of The View on Monday: ‘Did I miss something during maternity leave?!?’
She often found herself in the hot seat amid various controversial debates on her morning talk show.
And on Wednesday, Meghan McCain announced her return to The View after taking maternity leave to have her daughter Liberty.
The late Republican politician John McCain’s 36-year-old daughter went on Twitter to announce the change, writing: ‘It’s almost time … I’m very excited to take my place as a conservative at the Hot Topics table (virtually) @TheView on Monday -market!

‘Did I miss anything during maternity leave?!?’ she added.
To keep things fun, McCain added a Christina Aguilera gif to The Voice with the caption ‘Momma came to play.’
Meghan left her roles as a presenter on the ABC show, co-host of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro, in late summer, before the birth of her daughter in September.

She ‘came to play’: the 36-year-old daughter of the late Republican politician John McCain accessed Twitter to announce the change, writing: ‘It’s almost time … I’m just as excited to take my place as the conservative chair back at the table Hot Topics (virtually) @TheView on Monday ‘
There was much speculation that the conservative scholar would not return to the program, as she often got into heated and sometimes bitter debates with the other speakers on the program.
There were even reports that all the other hosts had stopped talking to Meghan behind the scenes.
But she commented directly on the matter in August, leaving no doubt about her intention to return.

Like all other programs, The View had to change its format considerably this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The episodes were filmed practically for much of the year, but the show’s Twitter account itself announced that McCain will be in the real studio on Monday ‘when @TheView returns LIVE for our first 2021 show!’
