Meghan Markle’s email pleading with Kensington Palace to correct rumors

An email that Meghan Markle sent to Kensington Palace asking advisers to “clear things up” about Kate Middleton’s false rumors has now been made public.

Last year, reports emerged that the Duchess of Sussex reduced her sister-in-law to tears because of a disagreement over bridesmaid dresses.

Markle denied these claims during his interview with Oprah Winfrey this week, insisting that the reverse has happened.

And now, the real general editor of Harper’s Bazaar, Omid Scobie, has released information that supports the Duchess’s claims.

In an opinion article written for the magazine, he stated that in January 2020, Kensington Palace urged Prince Harry to sign a statement refuting an “offensive” newspaper article alleging that Prince William “constantly intimidated” him and Meghan in preparation for the decision to step down from royalty to senior working royalty.

According to Scobie’s source, Markle responded to the request by asking the palace to deny rumors that she made Middleton cry.

She supposedly wrote “” Well, if we’re just releasing a statement right now, then maybe KP can finally clear up everything about me [not making Kate cry]. “

When Palaces aides responded, Scobie claims that Markle’s request was “ignored” and instead was told that “the Duchess of Cambridge should never be drawn into idle gossip”.

During her interview with Oprah, Markle addressed the rumors herself, claiming that Middleton made her cry – and not the other way around.

She said to the host: “A few days before the wedding, she was upset about something – yes, the question was correct, about florist dresses – and it made me cry and really hurt my feelings.

“And I thought that in the context of everything that was going on in those days leading up to the wedding, it didn’t make sense not to just be doing what everyone else is doing, which was trying to support knowing what was going on with my dad and whatnot. “

Markle went on to reveal that Middleton had apologized and everything had been forgiven.

However, more than a year later, she was surprised when the details of the dispute leaked incorrectly to the press and was distressed at not being able to establish the right record.

Markle also told Oprah that her mental health had suffered considerably due to the lack of support she received as a member of the royal family.

The Duchess even revealed that during her pregnancy with Archie, she had persistent thoughts of not wanting to “be more alive”. She said she asked the Palace HR department for help, but was told there was nothing they could do.

After Markle and Harry’s interview, the Queen addressed the issues raised in a statement: “The whole family is sad to hear how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

“The issues raised, especially those related to race, are worrisome. Although some memories may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be taken care of by the family in particular.

“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be very dear family members.”
