Meghan Markle was livid. Palace aides sent designer gifts back

Piles of free designer clothes filled when Meghan Markle started dating Prince Harry – and the future duchess had furious fights with palace aides who sent them back, according to a new report.

Keeping free designer clothes sent by major labels is good for an actress – but it is against real protocol, sources told Sun.

Markle was furious when told that she could not keep the weak clothes, which were sent to her at Kensington Palace after the news that she was Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Sun reported.

The high-fashion tantrum news is just the latest accusation of bullying that flooded the pages of gossip in the days leading up to her and Harry’s long-awaited interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday.

“As an actress, it was perfectly acceptable to accept gifts sent by fashion chains and designer brands,” a source told the UK newspaper.

“But Meghan had to be informed that it was not the right thing when you are a member of the royal family.”

Prince Charles ended up paying Markle’s wardrobe expenses after she married Harry in May 2018.

Buckingham Palace is launching an investigation into the allegations of bullying, which Markle countered was just a “calculated smear campaign” orchestrated by the palace to divert attention from the Winfrey meeting.
