A GoFundMe page set up to pay Meghan Markle’s mortgage and Prince Harry’s $ 14.6 million estate in California went bankrupt – after raising a measly $ 110, a report says.
Anastasia Hanson, 56, of California, told The Sun of Britain that she started the fundraising effort because she felt so sorry for the royal multimillion dollar couple – after Harry publicly cried to Oprah Winfrey about being cut financially by Buckingham Palace .
“When they came to the U.S., they were out of jobs and on limited funds,” said Hanson, who lives about 25 minutes from the princely couple’s palatial estate in ostentatious Montecito.
“They declared that they went through a very difficult period, so this fundraising is a way to help, have compassion and love, paying off the mortgage loan in full.”

In the bombshell interview of Markle and the prince on TV last week, Harry defended the signing of a plethora of super-lucrative deals with the media since he left real life, saying, “My family literally cut me off financially and I had to make sure our security. ”
Hanson’s online offer to try to financially help royalty began a few days ago – and ended on Saturday after just three donations, Sun said.

Hanson raised $ 5, while “A Supporter” gave $ 100 and “Anonymous” awarded $ 5 to the fund.

Harry and Meghan bought their nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion – nicknamed the Chateau of Riven Rock – in August for $ 14.65 million.
