Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are looking forward to receiving the baby no. two

Over the weekend, a spokesman for Harry, 36, and Markle, 39, told Fox News: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be an older brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very happy to wait for their second son.”
In a black-and-white photo of themselves, the couple was sitting near a tree with Harry’s hand placed under Markle’s head while she was lying on his lap with her hand resting on her belly.
The baby will be eighth in line to the British throne.

A spokesman for Buckingham Palace also told Fox News: “His Majesty, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the whole family are very pleased and wish them well.”
The duke told chimpanzee expert Jane Goodall in 2019 that he would only have two children for the good of the planet.

Harry and Markle, a former American actress, were married at Windsor Castle in May 2018. Their son Archie was born a year later.

In early 2020, the couple announced that they were leaving royal duties and moving to North America, citing what they said were the British media’s unbearable intrusions and racist attitudes. They recently bought a home in Santa Barbara, California.
In late November, the Duchess of Sussex revealed the painful loss she and her husband, Prince Harry, suffered in an opinion article published by The New York Times.
In the article, the former “Suits” star described how he realized something was wrong on a July morning while looking after Archie.

In the Times article, Markle goes on to describe how she tried to keep an “angry face” in the public eye. She remembered a time last year, when she ended a long tour in South Africa with Harry, when a journalist asked her “Are you okay?”
“Thanks for asking,” she replied. “Few people asked if I am okay.”
Markle considered the question “Are you okay?” be important, especially in 2020, a year that she said brought “so many of us to our limit.”
