Royal commentator Charlie Rae and TalkRadio host Kevin O’Sullivan reflected on the controversial decisions made by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The duo discussed the choice of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to visit a US cemetery on Memory Day with a cameraman after Prince Harry’s request was denied by the Queen. The two commentators agreed that it was embarrassing for the Royal Family and the Queen and claimed that other incidents could occur this year, as Harry could return to the UK for special royal events.
Mr O’Sullivan said: “That ceremony on Memorial Day when Prince Harry wanted a wreath to be placed in his name for all the dead military heroes.
“It took the Queen two seconds to say no, you left the Royal Family, you are not involved in that.
“At that point, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, somewhat petulantly, I would have thought, staged their own ceremony by going to a military cemetery in Los Angeles.
“A cemetery where all American soldiers were buried to deposit their own wreath.

“They were also taking care to take a photographer with them to turn this into a cheap and nasty publicity stunt.
“These two people are really climbing to new depths.
“I just think this is becoming a clear and present daily embarrassment for the royal family, don’t you think?”
Mr Rae agreed and insisted that this behavior could continue, as Harry is due to return to the UK in 2021.
“There is also the opening of the Princess Diana statue in Kensington later this year.”
“There will be some trips, provided by Covid-19, that will have Prince Harry here for intensive conversations with the Royal Family.
“I’m sure they will read the right act for him about some of the things he and Meghan have been doing with Netflix and Spotify.”
Mr. O’Sullivan ended by insisting that Meghan and Harry were taking things too far.
