Meghan and Harry create Christmas ‘traditions’ without royalty

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated their second Christmas away from the royal family, creating their own Christmas “traditions” in California.

The couple and their 18-month-old son Archie spent the last Christmas rented in Canada, but are now living in their $ 14.65 million home in Montecito – and are doing their own thing, People reported.

“It is Harry’s second Christmas away from England and Meghan wants to make sure it is special for everyone,” a source told People. “They are creating their own traditions in their new home.”

Traditions include buying your own tree, decorating it and going out with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

“They both love Christmas and are decorating with Archie,” the source told the magazine.

On Wednesday, Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, revealed their “painted” Christmas card – a colorful portrait of the trio in front of a theater decorated with a branch of greenery on the roof and a mulberry tree and a mini tree tree flanking the door.

As for the rest of royalty, they are moving on. In her annual Christmas message, broadcast by the BBC, the Queen spread Prince William and Kate Middleton on video, Sophie Wessex and Prince Edward doing charity work – but did not include Harry or Meghan.
