Mega Millions’ jackpot for Friday’s lottery draw increased to $ 82 million with a $ 59.9 million cash option.

The winning numbers were: 5, 14, 24, 25 and 27. The Mega Ball drawn was 14 with a 3X Megaplier.

Although no one across the country hit the $ 68 million jackpot on Tuesday, a second prize ticket sold in Oklahoma hit five numbers, but not the Mega Ball. Worth $ 4 million instead of the usual $ 1 million, as the winner spent an extra $ 1 for the Megaplier option

In New Jersey, 28 tickets corresponded to four numbers, lottery officials said. Two were purchased with the Megaplier option and are valued at $ 2,000 each. The others are worth $ 500 each.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 7, 18, 21, 31 and 40. The Mega Ball drawn was 9 with a Megaplier of 4X.

Mega Millions tickets cost $ 2 each and in New Jersey they must be purchased by 10:45 pm on the night of the draw. The chances of a ticket hitting the jackpot when hitting five numbers and the Mega Ball is 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of winning the second prize of at least $ 1 million by hitting five numbers .

The game is played in 45 states, Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands.
