Mega Millions Lottery: Did you win Friday’s $ 520 million Mega Millions draw? Results, winning numbers (1/8/2021)

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery draw jumped to around $ 520 million – potentially making it the eighth largest in the game’s history.

The winning numbers were: 3, 6, 16, 18 and 58. The Mega Ball drawn was 11 with a 2X Megaplier.

No one across the country hit the $ 447 million jackpot on Tuesday, although there were four tickets to the second prize sold, including one in New Jersey.

The lucky $ 1 million ticket from Garden State, which matched five numbers but not Mega Ball, was purchased at Masso’s Deli & Pizzeria on Lakeview Drive in Gibbsboro, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The others were purchased in California, Minnesota and Middletown, New York.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 20, 43, 51, 55 and 57. The Mega Ball drawn was 4 with a Megaplier of 2X.

The last time a lottery player won the Mega Millions grand prize was on September 15, 2020, when a $ 120 million ticket was sold in Wisconsin. The two largest jackpots were obtained in New Jersey in 2020. An anonymous winner claimed the $ 202 million prize won on February 11 with a ticket sold in Edison and a ticket of $ 124 million was purchased in Bayonne for the draw on 24 July.

Mega Millions tickets cost $ 2 each and in New Jersey they must be purchased by 10:45 pm on the night of the draw. The chances of a ticket hitting the jackpot when hitting five numbers and the Mega Ball is 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of winning the second prize of at least $ 1 million by hitting five numbers.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands.

The New Jersey Lottery office in Lawrence is open to the public by appointment. You can still claim your earnings – as long as they are less than $ 599.50 – in person at any retailer.

The lottery is also accepting claims by mail, although officials warn that payments may be temporarily delayed. Winners are advised to make copies of the application form and the winning ticket for their records.
