Given Ross’s misadventures with suntan spray, teeth whitening and, inexplicably, leather pants, he’s probably in a complete mess now. Fortunately, he and the rest of Friends the team has a few days to compose themselves before filming their meeting for HBO Max. According to Hollywood news reporter, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc will sit down for the long-awaited cast meeting, initially scheduled to debut on May 27, 2020 and eventually postponed three times due to coronavirus difficulties. In November, Perry tweeted that the meeting would be filmed in March, and Kudrow confirmed that the special was due to take place in January, so we’re pretty close to getting back on schedule.
Per THR, a Friends the reunion special, directed by Ben Winston, is scheduled to be filmed the week of April 5 on the Warner Bros. soundtrack. Stage 24 in Burbank, which we assume Gunther has haunted as a Phantom of the Opera with multiple cameras since the show’s ten years. the season ended on May 6, 2004. The six protagonists will be accompanied by the show’s creators, Marta Kauffman and David Crane. While the Friends the meeting does not yet have a set release date, it is rumored that it will fall close to its initial release date, unless during filming Gunther finally seeks his revenge on Ross, but if he has not done so in ten seasons, the chances are he has no courage to do that now.
