Former White House press secretary and Fox News contributor Kayleigh McEnany told “The Story” on Monday that she warned the press in the last days of the Trump administration that Donald Trump’s rare appearances would be a primer for how the Biden government would interact with the media.
MCENANY: I actually warned some of the press reporters. In the last days of the Trump administration, he didn’t make as many press releases every day as he walked to [Marine One] or those press conferences.
I told correspondents, ‘You guys are getting a taste of what the Biden government will be like.’ I said I didn’t expect to see him much. We do not have. We are still waiting for that solo press conference, we are still waiting for the day, apparently until the end of the month.
