Fast food is really better abroad.
McDonald’s is one of the most popular fast-food franchises in the United States and people are definitely fans of the food. That said, the restaurant’s hamburgers are usually not created by award-winning chefs.
However, this is not the case abroad.

McDonald’s in Denmark partnered with Paul Cunningham, a Michelin-starred chef, for a new hamburger.

McDonald’s in Denmark teamed up with Paul Cunningham, a Michelin-starred chef, for a new hamburger, reports Eat This, Not That. The chef is reportedly one of Denmark’s most respected cooks.
Their hamburger is called Homestyle Bearnaise and is currently only available on the Danish market.
On its website, McDonald’s Denmark writes: “Our new Homestyle Bearnaise is developed by gourmet chef Paul Cunningham. It consists of 100% meat, Bearnaise sauce, potato sticks, smoked onion puree, roasted onion, salad and melted cheddar cheese – all included a delicious soft brioche cake. “
BURGER KING CONFIRMS NEW CHICKEN SANDWICH LATER THIS YEAR, CLAIMS THAT ‘HAND CREATION’ WILL GO
Although the burger is not available in the United States, the restaurant still has new products for its customers to get excited about.
Fox News previously reported that McDonald’s is launching a new crispy chicken sandwich nationwide on February 24. The sandwich had already been tested at restaurants in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Houston, Texas.
The sandwich, as it was offered in Knoxville and Houston, featured a fried chicken fillet served on a potato roll, topped with butter and pickles, while the deluxe version included tomatoes, lettuce and mayonnaise. A spicy version will also be available.

This sandwich is the latest offering of what is being known as the chicken sandwich war. In 2019, Popeyes launched a chicken sandwich that became incredibly popular and sold out soon across the country. Since then, most fast-food chains have announced that similar chicken sandwiches were also being added to their menus.
