A new McFlurry flavor is not the only big change that comes to McDonald’s.

Fox News previously reported that McDonald’s is testing an AI program to improve its drive-thru efficiency and service. The program is still in the testing phase and was implemented at McDonald’s in Chicago.

The ordering program is reportedly an attempt by the company to allow human workers to focus on ensuring the accuracy and quality of food. The company apparently hopes that AI can also help speed up the service, even if it is only for a minute or two.
