This increased rapidly.
The Los Angeles Rams seems to be definitely interested in replacing quarterback Jared Goff, as ESPN reported on Friday afternoon that they are considering switching to Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who will be transferred this off-season.
Apparently, Stafford would like to play for Rams. Who wouldn’t want to trade Detroit for LA?
Sources: Matthew Stafford considers the Rams to be a viable candidate in his business market with Lions. While it is unclear what the Rams can do with Jared Goff’s long-term agreement with the books, they explored the possibilities with Stafford.

It is impressive that the Rams are already in discussions to make an initial change in the quarterback. This means that they probably decided to leave Goff. Remember that the new Detroit general manager, Brad Holmes, came from the Rams, so the two sides have great communication.
Perhaps Goff, with whom the Rams refused to commit, is part of the trade with Detroit. The Lions will need to replace Stafford, who will turn 33 this season, and Holmes knows Goff, 26, well, although there are clearly complications of a salary cap in this deal.
Tighten your belt, as this could reach a critical point soon. Sports Illustrated thinks Stafford could be traded next week, although it is not official until March.
I believe in @Lions‘intention is to move it before the Super Bowl. Interest during the Senior Bowl week was strong.
I think they get a first round, maybe that and something else. https://t.co/DimUUsh1Dk

The Rams don’t have a choice in the first round this year because of Jalen Ramsey’s exchange with the Jacksonville Jaguars, so maybe Goff will be part of Stafford’s deal if it is finished.
Whatever happens, this news means that the Rams are serious about a quarterback change and we need to keep an eye on it.
