The Packers can afford to say goodbye to the playoff, but they did some training this week. Notably, wide receiver Davante Adams did not participate in them.
But on Friday, coach Matt LaFleur said it was not a cause for concern.
“Yes, just rest,” said LaFleur during his press conference on Friday. “He is receiving treatment and some conditioning. But there are no reservations about that. ”
Adams ended the season with 115 receptions for 1,374 yards and 18 touchdowns, the leader of the league. Adams set a new franchise record for receptions and tied with the Green Bay franchise record for touchdowns – accomplishing feats in 14 games.
Green Bay will face the lowest remaining NFC seed next weekend.
