Matchups completed for Hall of Fame Classic

Part of the schedule outside the South Carolina men’s basketball conference will be played in Kansas City, Missouri, in late November, for the 2020 Hall of Fame Classic. The initial clashes ended on Tuesday, pitting the Gamecocks against Northwestern on November 28. Based on the outcome of that opening game, Gamecocks will play TCU or Tulsa on November 29th.

Gamecocks have yet to release the rest of their non-conference schedule, but a home meeting with Clemson is reportedly scheduled for December 19. John Whittle of TheBigSpur spoke at some other non-conference meetings in the Monday Night VIP Room.

The fights for the 2020 Hall of Fame Classic powered by ShotTracker in Kansas City, Missouri, have ended and it was announced on Tuesday that South Carolina will face Northwestern in its first fight at the T-Mobile Center on November 28. Tulsa and TCU face each other in the second semifinal match that same day, and the event will end on November 29 with consolation and championship. All games in Kansas City will be featured on the ESPN family of networks, with game times and network designations set to be completed shortly.

This season will mark the 20º anniversary of the Hall of Fame Classic event in Kansas City, one of the top college basketball tournaments of the beginning of the season in the country. In addition to the action on the court, the Hall of Fame Classic will provide a platform to celebrate the latest National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame introduction class.
