‘Masked Singer,’ ‘South Park’: TV Ratings on Wednesday, March 10, 2021

Fox’s show debuts below its fall average, while a ‘South Park’ special hits cable television between 18-49 year olds on Wednesday.

The masked singer obtained the highest rating for adults 18-49 in prime time on Wednesday, but the premiere of Fox’s fifth season was below its fall season. NBC’s Chicago Med finished first in total viewers, and one South Park special led cable in the 18-49 demographic group.

The masked singer obtained a rating of 1.31 among adults aged 18 to 49 years and 5.66 million viewers, below its average drop on the same day of 1.78 and 6.74 million. The debut of the series of Talent game (0.73 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers) had ratings comparable to those of The masked dancer.

Chicago Med it went up a tenth of a point in the demo 18-49 against its last episode, posting a 1.03 to go along with 7.57 million viewers, the maximum of the night. Chicago Fire (0.99, 7.04 million) and Chicago PD (0.84, 5.89 million) were both in line with their last outflows.

CBS programming has decreased a little across the board, as Tough as Nails (0.38 demo, 2.84 million viewers), Seal Team (0.42, 3.46 million) and HIT (0.37, 2.84 million) fell short of last week’s figures. At CW, Riverdale scored 0.14 and 523,000 viewers, which Nancy Drew (0.13, 522,000) almost the same. ABC comedies took the night off.

On cable TV, an hour long South Park The special got a rating of 0.82 among adults aged 18 to 49 and 1.74 million viewers (compared with 1.16 and 2.27 million for a previous special in September). Tucker Carlson Tonight claimed the largest total audience with 3.41 million people tuning into the Fox News program, about 120,000 more than The Rachel Maddow Show (3.29 million) on MSNBC.
