Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu react to Lions by interviewing James Urban

Prior to being teammates in 2020 in Detroit, Lions wide receivers Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu were also teammates on the Cincinnati Bengals. In fact, the pair were classmates in the 2012 draft of Cincinnati and played their first four seasons together.

His position coach with Bengals was James Urban. Now a QB coach with the Baltimore Ravens, Urban will take on the vacant position of Lions offensive coordinator under new coach Dan Campbell. And both Jones and Sanu seem very interested in development.

Jones and Sanu interacted on Twitter with their reactions to the possibility of playing Urban again. It is important to note that both players are free agents, so they are not technically Lions since the league year ends in March, but they seem intrigued:

Perhaps hiring Urban could attract the veteran duo back. Lions currently have only Quintez Cephus and Geronimo Allison under contract at the wide receiver for the 2021 season.
