Marvel’s ‘Loki’ TV series debuts in June on Disney Plus

Disney + blocked dates for Loki, which will be his third Marvel live action series, and his first animated film Star Wars Series.

Most recently designed for May, Loki is now scheduled to open on Friday, June 11 – about three months after The Falcon and the Winter Soldier comes to our screens. It stars MCU veterinarian Tom Hiddleston as the God of Evil, who comes out of his brother’s shadow on an adventure that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The cast also includes Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

Michael Waldron is the main writer, while Kate Herron directs; watch a previously released preview:

Meanwhile, Star Wars Day also known as May the Fourth (also known as Tuesday, May 4) will appropriately mark the debut of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, an animated series that follows the titular elite and experimental clones (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way into a rapidly changing galaxy shortly after the Clone War. (Subsequent episodes will be released every Friday, starting May 7). Members of Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones that vary genetically from their brothers in the Army of Clones – each have an exceptional and unique skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
