After the success of his Disney Plus series WandaVision, Marvel went back to printing for new runs of several WandaVision-related titles, Weekly entertainment reported. Scarlet Witch by James Robinson; Steve Englehart’s Vision and Scarlet Witch, and Eyesight, by Tom King and Gabriel Hernandez Walta are all on the list. Marvel will also increase its inventory of print editions from House of M, which EW says ended “almost overnight” after the show opened in January.
Fans of the show and the comics will appreciate the connections; even if the program was not restricted to the plot lines of the comics, there were countless references in WandaVision for themes in House of M and the other comics listed above.
As part of our series on how to get into the comics, The VergeChaim Gartenberg wrote a quick synopsis of Eyesight, a 12-issue edition that looks at what happens if a superhero tries to step back and start a family. He writes:
The series is also great for newcomers to Vision as a character: interspersed throughout the race is a reexamination of crucial moments in the artificial hero’s career, including his relationship with Wanda, his desire for a family, his time as a familiar-looking white Vision who lost all his memories and more. For MCU fans who are more familiar with the origin of Vision on the screen, it’s a good look at the original version of the character.

If you can’t wait to read or reread any of the Wanda or Vision comics, there are always digital versions on Marvel Unlimited and sites like Comixology. There is still no news as to when the new print editions of the comics will be available.
