Marvel turns spider-man into poison into a new one and what? Miniseries

Chip Zdarsky, Pasqual Ferry and Matt Hollingsworth are teaming up for a new What If? tale that imagines a Spider-Man who never gave up on the Venom costume.

In April, Marvel will join writer Chip Zdarsky, artist Pasqual Ferry and colorist Matt Hollingsworth for a What If? short story that imagines a Peter Parker who never gave up on his alien symbiote suit called Spider-Man: Spider’s Shadow.

“I’m thrilled to start a new era of ‘WHAT IF’ stories with this tale of a Spider-Man that has gone bad! How bad will he be? Will he have a goatee and no hyphen in his name? One to find out! seriously, I feel like with Spider shadow we’re exploring some gloomy situations with Spidey and the Marvel Universe, while making it cool and fun to read. I think longtime fans will love it and new readers will be amazed at what Marvel allows us to do, “said Zdarsky.” Pasqual and Matt are producing incredible work in this book. When each page arrives, I share them with all my friends, although Marvel says I am not allowed to do that. “

“Since I started working at Marvel, many years ago, I always dreamed of drawing Spider-Man, I got close a few times to get it, but the God of Thunder and Iron Man got in the way at the last moment – which were quite a joy too So, when I was offered the opportunity to design this miniseries, you can imagine my happiness. Secret Wars so the icing on the cake was doing this in the form of an “What if” series set at the beginning of that journey, “added Ferry.” Chip’s script is really shocking and surprising, a delight for someone who is a fan of the character like me, and I’m sure it will catch readers as much as he is pulling with me. Hold on to the seats, because Spider shadow will surprise you in a way that you cannot imagine! “
