Although the MARVEL Avengers Campus looks complete at Disney California Adventure, the new expansion will not open with the reopening of Disneyland theme parks in late April.
During the annual shareholders’ meeting held this afternoon, Disney CEO Bob Chapek declared that the Avengers Campus would be launched in late 2021, following the reopening of the Disney California Adventure in late April.
Before the theme parks closed in mid-March, Disneyland announced that the MARVEL Avengers Campus would open on July 18. Of course, this has been delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While there is no specific date for the opening of the new Marvel-themed site, guests can expect to experience it later this year.
