Mark Ingram’s running back is ready to continue his NFL career in Houston.
According to several reports, Ingram agreed to a contract with the Texans. It is a one-year deal worth up to $ 3 million.
Ingram was released by the Ravens after his playoff loss to Bills in January. He dropped out of the team at the end of the 2020 season with just 22 races in the last eight weeks and he didn’t play in the postseason.
Ingram had 72 loads for 299 yards and two touchdowns throughout the year.
David Johnson recently took a pay cut to remain on the Houston roster, so Ingram will be looking for a complementary role in his backfield. Buddy Howell, Scottie Phillips and Dontrell Hilliard are also on the list.
