Seattle Mariners team president and CEO Kevin Mather is being criticized for comments he made during a Zoom conference call with a rotating group on February 5.

The video – which came to light on Sunday – includes comments about the need for a translator for former All-Star pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma, the English aptitude of one of the organization’s top candidates and many other things that the operations team baseball team probably wants you not to know about Now.
