Mariah Carey is scoring another lap in the sun!
The five-time Grammy winner – who refers to birthdays as birthdays – was showered with sweet messages when she turned 51 on Saturday, including one from boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, 37.
“Today is my favorite day. Happy Birthday my love!” he wrote alongside some of the pair’s kicking selfies.
She also received a tribute from friend Millie Bobby Brown, 17, whom she met thanks to her children’s affinity for Weird stuff. The actress shared a selfie with Mimi on Instagram, writing, “Happy (birthday) to this queen. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you so much!”

Jennifer Hudson, 39, who joined Carey and Ariana Grande for a Christmas collaboration last year, also celebrated Carey’s big day.

For his own role, producer Jermaine Dupri took to Twitter with some setbacks of the pair together. Calling Carey his “true friend and musical partner”, Dupri, 48, thanked the singer “for allowing me” to be part of her “legendary career”.
Referencing Carey’s single “Obsessed” in 2009, TikToke star Addison Rae, wrote: “Happy birthday, @MariahCarey, obsessed with you.”

Carey revealed to OUT Magazine in a 2014 cover story that instead of recognizing her age each year, she celebrates the birthdays of her 12th birthday, “Honey, I’m 12 years old forever.”
“As a child, I literally made that pact,” she added. “There was some sort of argument with my mom and the man she was dating at the time, and somehow I became part of her – I was about 8 or 9 years old and said, ‘I will never forget what it feels like to be child and you will not be able to be seen or heard. ‘It is as if your opinion meant nothing, or your feelings were not real. “
