March 11 Cold War patch notes: Playlists, MP and zombie bug fixes

In CoD: Black Ops Cold War campaign, there are three very different endings that players can achieve, and our guide will ensure that you see all three.

Call of Duty campaigns may not resonate as much as they did at the beginning of the series, as Multiplayer slowly took over and became the dominant resource. However, since the negative reception regarding the total omission of a Black Ops 4 campaign, each subsequent game sought to include one.

It is the first campaign to feature on the next generation of consoles that offer players very customizable FPS configurations and cutting-edge assistance settings on the PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC.

Black Ops Cold War does well to continue the story of deep and intriguing stories that slowly unfold into something strange and wonderful. This time, you’re in the boots of “Bell”, a CIA agent, and you don’t even have to take an amazing trip during the Cold War era.

Ultimately, your actions can leave you with one of three different destinations. We’ll detail each one below and tell you how you can see them with your own eyes in the new Treyarch campaign.

Spoiler alert: The following contains details about the end of the Black Ops Cold War campaign.

Black Ops Cold War – Good ending

In order to properly configure the endings, you will have to trigger a result from a certain dialogue during the “Identity Crisis” mission. After you find out that you have been brainwashed by the CIA, Adler will ask where Perseus is.

From here, you can choose to lie or tell Adler the truth about Perseus’ location. This choice will dictate whether you will get the “good” or “bad” ending.

For a good ending, you will want to go ahead and choose the option “TRUTH” and reveal the correct location.

When you decide to tell Adler the truth, you will trigger the mission “The Final Countdown”, where it will stop Perseus’s attempt to fire all Greenlight nuclear weapons across Europe. After succeeding, Adler will speak to you on a cliff overlooking the island’s coast. At the end of this conversation, Adler will say that things “have never been personal”, so you two will pull your guns at each other.

Two shots are fired and the credits roll. It is not clear whether both characters die or just Bell.

To end the campaign with the first of the two bad endings, you will simply need to follow the initial steps of the good end. Only this time, when the big question is asked by Adler, you will select the answer “LIE”, thus preparing the squad to be ambushed in Duga.

When selecting this option, Bell betrays the CIA and essentially condemns the team to be executed.

As soon as you arrive, signal the attack and a rocket will be launched at the squad. You will be helped by an unknown comrade and from here you will have to kill Adler, Woods, Mason and any characters you chose to save before.

In the end, you personally send the order to detonate Greenlight nuclear weapons, and the man who helped you earlier reveals that Perseus is actually a group of people instead of a single man, and you were part of that group all along.

In all honesty, there is not much difference with this variation of the bad ending, but it ends up being a slightly darker destination for Bell.

As soon as you arrive in Duga for the ambush, you can simply choose not to inform Perseus of his arrival, resulting in Adler and the team knowing about Bell’s mistake and killing him.

But it still ends with Perseus detonating nuclear weapons and delivering a significant blow to human history.

So there you have it, three different endings and all very accessible in the grand scheme of things. The question is, which one will you choose to see first?
