Marc Daly says he and Kenya Moore agreed to end the marriage

The relationship between Kenya Moore and Marc Daly has definitely been a talking point for Atlanta’s real housewives viewers in the past two seasons. Although it looks like they broke up and then came back, it looks like the couple may be doing well, if Daly’s recent statement is any indication.

Kenya Moore and Marc Daly’s troubled marriage ended in ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’

Daly is a businessman and restaurant owner. He and Moore were married in June 2017. The following year, Moore announced that they were pregnant with their first child. Brooklyn couple Doris Daly was born on November 4, 2018. They called her Brooklyn because Daly and Moore met in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York.

The couple’s journey was difficult to say the least. Moore and Daly split in 2018 and Moore said he was asking for a divorce. But it seemed like they stayed together for a while and continued to be Brooklyn’s parents together.

At the end of the 11th season of Atlanta’s real housewives, the spectators saw a great divergence between the couple when they were already lost. Throughout the season, Moore stated that he did not feel that she and Daly were in a good place. In one episode, Daly returned to Atlanta and had a family dinner with Moore and Brooklyn. During dinner, Daly seemed disinterested in Moore and only concerned about his daughter, which bothered Moore.

In November 2019, Moore told US Weekly: “I think things can get back on track if you have two people who want to. It’s good. We are very cordial, very kind to each other now. We are working very well together and just helping our daughter. I really can’t wait for anything else now in terms of how we are co-parents. It’s been really wonderful so far. “

Marc Daly makes a statement that the marriage is over

In an exclusive statement given to The Root, Daly confirmed that he and Moore were breaking up. “After watching mediation recently, Kenya and I agreed to end our marriage,” he said in part. “I will always be very fond of her and I hope to continue amicably to co-mother our daughter Brooklyn with a lot of love and wisdom.”

Daly also noted that his focus would be to use his restaurant to help the Brooklyn community in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

“As always, in addition to perpetual self-development, my main focus will continue to be to help the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic,” he continued. “This focus will take shape using my restaurant as a ‘Community Center’, where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics, such as economic empowerment, social activism and political engagement, can be highlighted in a safe and productive forum. I am blessed to be an agent of positive change not only for my family, but also for my community. “

To date, Moore has not made Daly’s directed statement.
