Many wrestling fans tuned in to honor Brodie Lee’s memory

Rating and viewing data is available for this week’s NXT and AEW television shows (December 30).

PW Torch tweeted the results earlier this evening:

“AEW last night attracted 977,000 viewers (plus 202K from 775K). NXT attracted 586,000 (down from 112K to 698K). 18-49 AEW demo surpassed NXT 0.40 to 0.12. “

This is usually the part where I compare last week’s results and briefly mention recent trends, but I don’t think it’s necessary this time. You are certainly welcome to discuss any rating data in the comments below, if you wish.

For me, I will focus only on the fact that many fans of professional wrestling have decided to end 2020 by honoring the life and legacy of a man who has touched the lives of so many people around him. Viewers were treated to what some people call a perfect show.

We hope we don’t have to watch another one like this for a long time.
