In recent years, she starred in the tearful TV show, This Is Us, and played with the caption for her new baby photo: ‘#thisisgus’.
Mandy shares her baby with Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith, whom she married at a sunset wedding in her backyard in 2018.
She broke the news of her pregnancy in September with an Instagram photo of herself and her husband stroking her belly.

Mandy gave birth last Saturday and has since revealed on Instagram how she and her husband decided to call the baby August.
‘It was last August when @taylordawesgoldsmith and I found out we were going to have a baby boy (it’s also Taylor’s month of birth) and we always loved the name … so it was decided at the very beginning of our book,’ Mandy said.
The caption was accompanied by a photo of a small gray baby blanket with the words ‘AUGUST’ sewn onto it.

‘So for our birthday in November, T presented me with this blanket with the “A” (for Amanda) made from the extra material from my wedding dress and “T” (for Taylor) from her wedding shirt. It seemed like a very suitable amalgamation of our entire history. I can’t wait to pass this on to our sweet August one day, ‘Mandy shared.
At the end of last month, she spoke openly about the anxiety she felt when she found out she was pregnant during endometriosis.
“Because of this problem with my uterus, I was very hesitant to believe and bet on it,” she told Romper. ‘I kind of held my breath for up to 12 weeks.’
