Man with chainsaw threatens others at Raleigh hotel :: WRAL.com

– The police are looking for a man accused of terrorizing others with a chainsaw at a Raleigh hotel on Saturday night.

Raleigh police surrounded the Red Roof Inn on South Saunders Street after answering a 9:15 call.

The man threatened several people, but no one was hurt. Police said the man used a chainsaw to threaten the victims. The man in question ended up leaving the hotel in what appeared to be a dark-colored sedan.

Security footage captured a glimpse of the man, who wore a dark green baseball cap, a long white coat, dark jeans and white shoes.

The reason for man’s actions is not known. The suspect is wanted for attempted kidnapping, aggravated assault and property damage.
