The owner of an antique store in Canada found that a collector was hiding a literal fortune in his home.
Alex Archbold owns a store called Curiosity Inc. and runs a YouTube channel that chronicles his buying and selling work for the company. He recently bought the contents of a house that had belonged to a music teacher, although he apparently did not know what was hidden inside.
Archbold did not know that Bette-Joan Rac was a collector until he bought the home of the late music teacher, reports The Sun. Supposedly, the anti-wanted knew only that the house contained a grand piano.

On YouTube, Archbold documented his journey of exploring the house, which consisted mainly of rummaging through piles of boxes and bags. Some rooms were filled to the ceiling with containers, some of which contained designer clothes, while others were full of garbage.
In other rooms, Archbold found silver dollars, wallets full of money, and purses that supposedly contained gold rings and diamonds. According to Sun, the antiquarian described the former owner of the house as a millionaire. He says he met the woman before she passed away, but that he had no idea that she was hiding valuable items behind the front door.

Not all valuables were stored in obvious locations, however. An expensive-looking ring was found inside a shoe. Archbold also found some small silver bars tucked into a pile of leaflets.
Archbold said he spent $ 10,000 to buy the contents of the house and has since made a considerable profit. After auctioning everything off, he estimates he won about $ 400,000.
