In the clip, Mama June looks better than ever with her hair done and her broken and lost teeth fixed with varnish.

However, despite his outward appearance, his family life is still turbulent because of drug addiction and prison.

‘I have no idea who my mother is anymore,’ says June’s daughter, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Shannon Efird, 21.

Pumpkin takes care of his own family, as well as his 15-year-old sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson. June has four daughters, from three different parents, in addition to Lauryn, and Alana has two older daughters, Anna, 26, Jessica, 24.

In the teaser, Pumpkin breaks with the weight that was placed on his shoulders due to his mother’s problems and Alana is in tears admitting that she cries herself to sleep more often than not.

“I have to continually show Pumpkin that I’ve changed,” says Mama June to the camera, adding to Dr. Ish Major from the wedding training camp that she “deserves a second chance”.

Now sober, Mama June still has to deal with some very real consequences of her recent actions, which may include time behind bars on drug charges.

She admits in the clip: ‘I can go to jail and never see my kids again. I’m scared to death. ‘

Mama June: Road to Redemption will be the continuation of 2020 Mama June: Family Crisis, who recorded her $ 2,500-a-day drug addiction, imprisonment and the beginning of her recovery.

A year ago, June ran away from a drug treatment facility after being arrested for crack use, but later completed a program.

Her downward spiral began in 2019 alongside her boyfriend Geno Doak, who June also claims to be sober.

In March of that year, the couple were arrested together for possession of drugs in Alabama.

The police were called to a gas station because of an apparent domestic dispute between the two, but when the police searched the car, they reportedly found crack and drug paraphernalia. Doak also faces charges of domestic violence.

The lawsuit was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
