Mom Junehas a difficult job for her while trying to stay sober … telling us that it is a daily struggle to avoid her addiction while trying to fix her relationship with her family.
The reality star joined us on Friday on “TMZ Live” for an uplifting conversation about how she is changing her life after her astronomically expensive drug addiction. Not only did she temporarily lose her family, it also cost her almost $ 1 million … the amount she says she and her boyfriend Geno fell on drugs a year before they got clean.
June tells us that she has to be patient in her struggle to return to her children’s good graces, and while she admits it has been a success and a failure so far … she is not letting that discourage her from being present and keeping contact.
Honey Boo BooGeno’s mother says she and Geno went into rehab in January 2020, and they’ve been sober since – but she says that fighting addiction when they left was complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

June explained how she used social media to take responsibility for her sobriety when dealing with quarantined life.
One more thing … she’s back on TV – “Mama June: Road to Redemption” debuts on Friday night on WeTV, but June says she’s focused on her daily battles … for sobriety and family.
I must say that it is really remarkable to see where June is today, compared to your low points in 2019. If you weren’t rooting for her before, that may change your mind.
