How much snow you can see

NBC Connecticut
Sufficient hot air can be drawn into the state for some mixing along the SE coast, keeping the totals lower in that area of the state. The highest snow totals appear to be in the northeast and southwest parts of the state.
Timing the storm
A strong area of low pressure will spread snow in the state before Monday’s daily commute. The snow will become more stable and heavy in the afternoon.
NBC Connecticut meteorologists believe the trips will be tricky for night commuting.
The wind is also a concern during the storm
Along with heavy snow on Monday afternoon, winds will start with gusts of 30 to 50 mph. White out conditions cannot be ruled out for a while on Monday afternoon.
